Another elusive customer: The Pied Fantail

The Pied Fantail has a very distinctive call. It is quite a common bird that is seen mostly in the undergrowth along the banks of Sungei Sembawang and is said to use its fantail to attract insects. It darts around quite rapidly mostly in the undergrowth and it is quite difficult to get a good shot of it in all its glory – with its fantail opened.
