Green with a tinge of Pink: Pink-Necked Green Pigeons

A fruit eater, the Pink-Necked Green Pigeon is a common sight amongst the foliage along the Sungei Sembawang. I have seen them in the Singapore Botanical Gardens as well as in the Bukit Timah Hill areas. Small flocks as well as pairs can be observed foraging over the tops of the Simpoh Air trees that line the river in the mornings.
